Over the past three years, you have helped us raise over $35,000 that has allowed us to provide many gifts, financial relief, and sponsorships for kids and their families throughout 2017-2019. As we prepare for our 2020 event, we are excited to see you all again for an even bigger and better tournament! Please join us for this night of charity to help us spread HOPE to these families. Because HOPE CHANGES THINGS.
Proceeds go to Action for Austin Foundation, a 501c3 that provides gifts of hope to the babies, children and families spending Easter, Halloween and Christmas in the NICU and PICU units. We cover all local Bakersfield hospitals, Children’s Hospital of Central California Madera, Henry Mayo, UCLA, Cedars-Sinai and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. This is a total of 366 NICU families. We also provide support to the Bakersfield, Madera, and Los Angeles Ronald McDonald Houses as well.
Action for Austin provides a smile and hope during the holidays for families who are struggling. With your donation, we can purchase, pack, and deliver gifts for the babies and children (and families) – these may include blankets, hats, stuffed animals, bubbles, inspirational reminders, etc; purchase gift cards for food and gas; provide financial help to the Ronald McDonald House families; and sponsor a family who has been in a NICU for 3 or more months.
